London: Phaidon, 1960. Book. Fine. Cloth. First Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Brick red cloth with gilt tiles to the spine. 339 pp. 16 tipped in color reproductions and over 330 black and white. Translated from the French by C.W. Chilton and by Mrs. A.L.Kitson. This copy is FINE in a VG clear plastic jacket and a VG pictorial cardboard slip case.The copy itself is pristine. No noticeable blemishes. The plastic jacket has a half dollar sized, half moon chip on the top upper back. The slipcase has modest rubbing/wear along the edges, but is clean and colorful and structurally very solid. Also laid in is the Phaidon Art Books' return postcard to receive more information about Phaidon publications..
