Oversized hardcover without dust jacket, undated (but known to be 1946), 312 pages including many black-and-white illustrations throughout, plus several in full colour;---green cloth hardcover with embossed bird illustration on front cover, faded but legible gilt lettering on spine;---only very light shelf wear to cover edges, some pale faded old soiling to back cover, otherwise gently used, some pages with light foxing, but all otherwise very clean and unmarked.
