London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1978. 1st Edition. Brown Boards. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 319pp. A rare copy of this first edition. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. The cloth at the tail of the spine is lightly turned in with slight shelf wear. Loss to the extreme top corner of the rear end paper. One page corner turned, leaving a neat crease. Slight fore edge foxing. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is price clipped with perhaps the slightest of fading to the spine of the wrapper. Light shelf wear and slight rubbing to the wrapper edges with a slight nik to the head of the rear of the wrapper. There is a crease to the extreme corner of the front inner flyleaf. A very good copy
