About This Item
London: Collins, 1961. First edition of the fourth Paddington book in his classic series. Octavo, original cloth. Signed by the author on the half-title page, "with all good wishes Michael Bond December 2013." Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Uncommon signed. The Browns are going on holiday to France, and Paddington is in charge of the "eyetinnery." He has the whole trip planned down to the last marmalade sandwich, but somehow he takes the family far off the beaten path. With Paddington in charge, one should always plan on the unexpected.
Synopsis
Paddington gets himself into one scrape after another on a family trip to France, including accidentally winning the Tour de France bicycle race.
