Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. preface by editor, preface to the second edition, preface to the third edition and four appendices. Blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Arranged alphabetically a companion to English literature. With figures, both fiction and non fiction, of note throughout the long history of English literature. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the backstrip and to the lower book edges. Rubbing to the book corners and there has been rubbing to the cloth of the boards. A few marks also noted to the book panels. Browning and foxing to the text block edges. Browning, offset tanning and foxing to the endpapers and very light age toning to the internal pages.
