Photographic illustrated dustjacket. The dustjacket is slightly faded on the spine section, and lightly rubbed across both top and bottom, price clipped on the front fold over. Original bookseller's metallicized sticker neatly placed at the bottom right-hand corner of the front paste down. No other damage to describe. In 1886 and Australian stonemason discovered, by accident, the main gold bearing reef of the Witwatersrand. This is the story of the Randlords, owned the story of Johannesburg, built on gold, baptised in blood. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
