Indianapolis IN: Privately printed, 1953. First Edition. Soft cover. Near Fine. Baldwin, H. OUR JOURNEY THROUGH AFRICA 1953 IN. Privately printed for the author. 81 pp, ill, large format. Pictorial card covers. Front ill is map of the lengthy trip. The author and three companions went on an eight-week trip through the Belgian Congo, Uganda, Tanganyika and Kenya. The hunting started in Tanganyika and Kenya. They took elephant, buffalo (including one stopped at 12 feet!), rhino, lion and plenty of plains game. Hunting was mainly in Tanganyika and Kenya. The book is noted in the Czech bibliography but this is only the second copy we listed since starting business in 1971! Near fine but with former owner's name and address stamp on lower front cover. A. another copy, but with former owner's company and address stamped on front cover. $900.
