New York: American Heritage Publishing Co., Inc., (1966)., (1966).. Very good. - Quarto, 13-5/8 inches high by 10-7/8 inches wide. Two volumes bound in blue cloth titled in gilt within black rectangles on the spines with Audubon's initials in gilt on the front covers. The two volumes are housed in a dark blue slipcase, with silk ribbon, titled in gilt on a brown label on the front panel. The covers are slightly soiled and the spines are lightly faded with a tiny hole near the tail of one spine. The slipcase is lightly rubbed with slight wear to the extremities. This substantial set is illustrated with 451 full-page and double-page color plates (including several folding double page plates) with descriptive text on facing pages. Very good.
