New York, 1924., 1924.. Very good. - Octavo, 9 inches high by 6 inches wide. Softcover, a 4-page menu with an elaborately illustrated cover page portraying polar bears seated at a dinner table aboard ship with the heading "Tima" and "Chimo; Chimo". A banner proclaiming "Our Absent Brethren" is at the head of the title with vignettes of the ships "The Bowdoin" and "The Maud" followed by the names of the explorers "McMillan" and "Amundsen" on either side. The motto "From Pole to Pole - From Occident to Orient" is printed under the silhouette illustration of Jungle animals & natives. The Explorers Club's crest is pictured on the back cover. The menu, printed on the left inner page, included "Medaillon of Sweetbread, St. Germain" and "Roast Guinea Hen Polonaise", while a list of speakers is printed on the facing page. The right edge of the cover page is slightly darkened. There is a very short tear in the margin of the second leaf. Very good.
