Condition: This antique engraving is in very good collectible condition with binders holes to the top edge, (from where it was removed from the book) , Light foxing, and soiling mostly to margins. A great candidate for being matted and framed. Would make a unique gift. Size: 9 By 11 1/2 Inches. Engraving. ; Comments : This beautiful black and white print was rescued from a damaged copy of Reports of Explorations and Surveys, to Ascertain the Most Practical and Economical Route for a Railroad from the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean. Under the Direction of the Secretary of War in 1853-5 According to Acts of Congress. Volume XII Book II. This being Plate #XXXII of the Fish Plates. A vintage natural history engraving that would look great framed. A very uncommon engraving. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 1 pages .
