Heavy card covers with sewn gatherings glued to cloth spine, 8vo (9 inches tall), pp. 91, [92], illustrated in B&W throughout, lacking two leaves [p. 13-16, Pentane Lamp]. Old damp stain to lower half of text block near head of spine - not affecting illustrations or printed text, with some rippling to fore-edge and spotting to terminal leaves, one bit of tape residue and some small chips and wear to covers. Evidently, the first catalogue ever issued by The American Meter Company, "We have been accustomed to issuing a circular for each piece of apparatus ... these have become so numerous that it is of more advantage to our customers to have a complete catalogue with all articles numbered and indexed for ready reference. This is presented herewith." from the preface. Contains a turn of the century selection of clocks, gauges, photometers, candles, provers and appliances.
