About This Item
New York: Longmans, Green and Co, 1932. Cloth. Jean Cocteau. The 1932 1st American edition, translated from Cocteau's original French by Ernest Boyd. Solid and VG (with very light sunning to the spine ends and upper edges) in a bright, price-intact, VG- example of the 1st state dustjacket (with the "$2.00" price). Light interior (and inconspicuous) staining to the jacket, 2 small pieces of internal white tape re-inforcing the spine crown and a closed tear. Light chipping and creasing as well to the fragile Cocteau-illustrated dustjacket. Still though, very presentable and attractive. 12mo, 27 illustrations by the author complementing the text.
