Red cloth binding with titles stamped in gold on spine, color frontispiece plus 17 illustrations, 444 pages. Inscribed and signed by the author to a good friend on the second free endpaper "To John Dahlberg/I hope you find/some portion of the pleasure/in this book that had come/to me from knowing you/and your wonderful/parents also friends/of many years/with best wishes/Sincerely Eldon Chuinard". Tiny bump to one corner otherwise the book is fine. Dust jacket price on front flap $29.00. Dust jacket has a few small nicks along top edge otherwise fine, dj is now protected in a new mylar sleeve. Rarely found in the first edition, with jacket, signed, and in such great condition.
