The sixth psychological suspense-thriller from the British author currently being compared to the legendary Agatha Christie features a winter storm and avalanche in the French Alps that traps the corporate brass of a new tech start-up while they try to decide on a buy-out offer. And then some of the group begin to disappear. First Scout Press U.S. edittion, first printing (as stated, with complete number line). About 6 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches, 372 pages including acknowledgements, in blue paper-covered boards with silver lettering on spine. Dustjacket's front panel shows dramatic photo of av avalanche as background for title in dark blue and author in red lettering. Back panel contains 7 blurbs of praise for Ware's earlier books. Text edges show some soiling and the back pastedown has a bit of writing in ink, o/w boards and text are clean, complete and without flaws or damage. Dustjacket has only light edgewear, no tears or chipping.
