FIRST EDITION AND A VERY PLEASING SET, ESPECIALLY WELL PRESERVED. The author notes that this is the first book to be produced which addresses itself to the Old Inns and their story. The author took great delight in planning the work and executing it over a ten year period. He addresses himself to the last of the London Inns, most of which were long gone by the time the work was published.
