New York: Hastings House, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. Light shelf wear to the book; more to tips, corners, and edges of the jacket which is chipped at the top and bottom of the spine. Clean and unmarked. First printing, stated. A history of one of the original twelve counties of New York, created in 1683. The author was a resident of the county for 55 years. MacCracken served as President of Vassar College from 1915 to 1946. Every effort is made to ship all books and other items within 24 hours. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible.
