A few spots of foxing to endpapers and to dust wrapper. Red title lettering on dust wrapper spine faded. Dust wrapper is not price-clipped. 1" tear and 1/2" chips at head of dust wrapper spine. 3/8" chips at top corners of dust wrapper. 1/4" tear in front panel of dust wrapper. Minor browning to dust wrapper. Dust wrapper protected in archival mylar cover. ; First printing. Brown boards with gilt titles on spine. Publisher's review copy slip loosely included - "The book will be published at 9/6 net on 2nd April, 1951." Short stories. The author's second book. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 256 .
