Copyright 1949, published by University of Oklahoma Press (Oklahoma); stated 'First edition' on the copyright page, 1st Printing with no other printing dates mentioned. Inscribed and signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Dust jacket is in protective mylar cover. Front inside flap has $3.75 printed on it. Jacket shows sunfade and edge-wear, particularly to the spine head and tail, and a one-inch tear along the rear bottom-edges. Mustard yellow hardcover has a bumped top front corner. Slightly faded publisher's stain on the top-edge of the textblock. Poorly erased book price on the front endpaper. No other writing or markings otherwise, aside from author's inscription. Overall, it is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition.
