Glasgow: James Brown and Son, 1925. 3. Hardback. Very Good/No Jacket. 635 8vo. Written by 'an officer on board an up-to-date oil tank steamer'. Light brown cloth-covered borads, gilt titles to front board and spine. 'With 43 Chapters, 15 diagrams, and new tables for calculating weights of oil and water'. Previous owner's name to front paste down (possibly L R Hundy), and his note '2nd Mate S/S H...??' (that is, I can't make the name out). Condition notes: A little rubbing to the boards, light foxing to end papers but a clean, attractive copy.
