Beeby-Thompson whose comprehensive knowledge and writings were essential in the early days of big oil. Beeby-Thompson had earlier learned the complexities of exploration in Russia and by his mid-1930's had experience in oil fields elsewhere over the world. Today this set still is essential. From the oil fields of Texas to Saudi Arabia to those in Russia, this set still contains much in history that otherwise is not in any other single set. A very nice set in library buckram withdrawn from the University of Iowa. The set weighs 8 pounds so overseas shipping will require significant additional postage.
