Evanston, IL. / Danville, IL.: Lira Company / Pat Depke.. Very Good. 1971 / 1978. Softcover. Two saddle-stapled booklets, 24 x 19 cm. / 28 x 21.5 cm.; 33 pp. / 36 pp. Both booklets give instructions for making the Ojo de Dios, Eye of God, an ancient contemplative and spiritual practice by the Huichol Indians of Mexico and New Mexico, also a form found in the Middle East and ancient Egypt. Using twigs or sticks and yarn, these woven creations encourage prayer and thoughts of God and can become quite elaborate in form and quite beautiful. Both have minor wear on covers but are sturdy and clean and both are included. .
