Oxford Illustrated Press, no publication date listed, circa 1973. Two volumes bound into one volume. Volume 1: Official Illustrated Guide to the Great Western Railway including the Amalgamated West Midland Line and the Chester and Holyhead Line, also the Isle of Man; Volume 2: Official Illustrated Guide to the Bristol and Exeter, North and South Devon, Cornwall and South Wales Railway. Limited edition of 1000 copies of which this is # 287. Limited edition seal of the Oxford Illustrated Press impressed and numbered on title page. Rust colored cloth binding with title on spine in gold. Text is clean and crisp. Over 350 wonderful vintage engravings. Nice tight binding. Slipcase: Matching rust cloth binding, Corners and edges are rubbed. Some soil. Descriptive label with limited edition statement taped onto spine of slipcase. Some closed tears and light soil to label.
