London: Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, 1846. Black Boards. Very Good. 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall. 96pp. A well preserved pocket book for the office for the Holy Communion, blind stamped with a decorative design to the front and rear boards. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine and all edges gilt. Light rubbing to the head and tail of the spine with rounding of the board corners. Neat ink name incription to the front paste down dated 1847 and a gift inscirption dated 1874 to the front end paper. Light toning to the upper edge of the front paste down and to the half of the rear paste down. Some light finger soiling to the margins of the pages. Several page corner tips have ben turned. leaving neat creases. The book remains tightly bound and is otherwise clean. A very good copy.
