The 18 full-page plates are tipped to heavy black stock; one in color, the rest halftones, including a double-page view: from photographs, and paintings by Charles H. Harmon, all engraved by the Williamson-Haffner Engraving Co. of Denver. Bound in red wrappers, string-tied spine, embossed cover title; some offsetting from red covers onto first and final leaves. 9" x 11" Includes views of the rail line and various gold mines along the way.
