Chapter 2 may be of greatest interest: A list and description of former schools no longer in operation. Current buildings and their descriptions also are catalogued, along with biographical material on school superintendents and a directory of school principals. Text includes material on the desegregation of the school system in the 1950s and '60s. Langlotz was the chief writer, but the project was a committee endeavor led by Karen Beattie. Other co-authors included Angie Forest; Dianne Gilpatrick and Anita Strawn. Size: 8.25 in Tall By 11 in Wide.
