Printed in Spain and copyright 1959. Brown flexible leather covers in very good condition. Size of each volume is approximately 7"" x 5 1/2"". Vol I is 1 1/2"" thick while Vol II is 1 1/8"" thick. Frontispieces in both volumes feature author; Vol I Portrait style; Vol II author sitting in a chair. Text block is clean & tight with no writings or other markings noted. All text edges are ""marbled"" with black and white design. Top and side edges show some age toning compared to bottom block. Brown satin ribbon marker bound-in in both volumes. Straight, tight and clean with no wear or markings in bright, pictorial card covers, no dustjacket as issued. The pieces in this collection, written between 1956 and 1961 and including short fiction, a radio play, and a stunning early novel, offer startling insights into Cohens imagination and creative process.
