London: Ivor Nicholson & Watson, 1932. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Marguerite Steen. A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy. Acceptable condition copy that is easy to look at. Original publisher's orange cloth boards are discolored and sunned a bit along edges, but firm, and binding is tight. Pastedowns are clean and neat. Bright and shiny dust jacket, beautifully illustrated, showing moderate wear, heavy wear and light chipping to spine head, protected by a plastic coat, not price-clipped. First Edition. 156 pp., and featuring plentiful full-page illustrations by this master draftswoman. The illustrations are colorful and full-page. Plays include The Princess and the Pea, The Princess Who Was a Swineherd, The Pied Piper ofHamelin, Harlequinade at an Inn, The Willow Tree, and The Mother.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
