London: Universal Edition, 1960. Spiral. Very Good. Folio. 16 pp. Spiral bound. Instructions in German, French, and English. Wraps seem to have artfully survived a coffee disaster, text mostly unaffected, internally affects mostly edges of instruction pages. Spiral well manufactured and still excellent, but a small crimp in one end. Very good but for coffee stains. Previous owner's signature on wraps. Composed in 1959, copyright 1960 on wraps, copyright 1961 at internal "footer" near spiral on each page. U.E. 13186 LW. For marimba, vibraphone, tom-toms, snare drum, güiro(s), African log drums, suspended cymbals, hi-hat, almglocken, suspended "bunch of bells" or tambourine, high-pitched triangles, gong, and tam-tam. Score may be played backward or forward by flipping 180 degrees. The instruments are arranged in a circle around the percussionist. Dedicated to Wolfgang Steinecke. Printed in Austria by Waldheime-Eberle, Wien. Zeichnerische Reproduktion: Wilhelm Bernhard Kirchgässer.
