NY: E. P. Dutton. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1927. 1st Edition; 70th printing. Hardcover. Stated first edition 70th printing December 1927 (same year as original issue). Book is quite nice, solid, gently handled, jacket is worn with the wear of generations of little hands. Scanned images available upon request. Orange cloth cover is still bright, stamped lettering and child clear and strong with no rubbing. Bands bumped, mild spine slant . Corner tips bumped, slight rub cover edge. Pages show very mild toning mainly at text block edge, a few margin tears, one long tear along spine (p49/50) , head dusty. Some finger smudge, light, on scattered pages. Small vintage bookplate inside front cover. Jacket quite soiled, heavily tape repaired, price clipped, small piece out at spine. Full color illustration on jacket charming. The young readers of 1927 had the good fortune to be among the first to greet Christopher Robin and Pooh into our world. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
