London: Downey and Co., 1897. Thirty-seven volumes complete. Uniform full calf by Zaehnsdorf, raised bands, spines in six panels, morocco author label to second panel, title label to fourth and volume label to sixth, remaining panels gilt with central flower inside a roundel and flowery stem corner pieces, covers with triple fillet border with shamrock corner pieces, gilt rule to edges and gilt inner dentelles, a.e.g. with marbled endpapers. Slightly rubbed to extremities, a couple of volumes with scrapes and knocks, occasional discolouring to leather, one or two small bumps. Internally occasional very minor spotting but generally bright and clean. Previous owners bookplate to front pastedowns. With black and white and colour plates throughout, by Phiz and Cruikshank. Volume one has an autograph letter signed by Lever tipped in before the general title. Limited de Luxe edition, one hundred copies, this being number thirty-eight. With A.L.S.. First Thus. Full Calf. Very Good. Illus. by Browne, Hablot K. (Phiz) And Cruikshank, George. 8vo. Limited De Luxe Edition.
