Cologne: Jacques Dulont, 1683. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Contemporary full calf with raised cord bands to spines, later rebacked and repaired in fine style. Dimensions are about 130x80x12mm. Original endpapers. Spherical woodcut device to title-pages; head and tail pieces throughout. Edges and endpapers toned. Bookplate of Kenneth Clark Saltwood in each volume, and early ink annotations to flyleaves, and title-page in first volume, including owner's name "Eph. Chambers". Otherwise a sound and attractive little pair, published respectively in 1683 and 1684. [vol. I]156;[vol II]165pp..
