St. Louis, MO: Nixon-Jones Printing Co, 1913. Octavo. Portrait frontispiece, 212pp., The author was from Company E, 7th Tennessee Regiment, Forrest's Cavalry Corp. Hubbard served the entire period of the Civil War. Very few soldiers saw more of the war or had better opportunities for observation. This is the story about his life and those in his company during the war. Bound in green cloth lettered in gilt, spine plain, previous owner's name, scattered foxing to board edges and spine. A very good copy.
