Blue Cloth, Spine Stamped In Gilt, Front Cover Stamped In Blind. True First Edition ( London), First Issue With All Points. 1904 Date On Title Page; Misprint On P. 187 ( Page Number Reads "871"); Last Page (Correctly) Numbered 480. Spine Has Title, Author And Publisher's Name ( "Harpers" ) In Gilt. Blindstamped Title And Author And Wave Designs On Front Cover. Overall A Clean, Bright, Attractive Copy With Some Wear. Gilt Lettering Overall Bright, A Little Dulling And Wear, Tiny Frays At Points Of Tips And At One Pinpoint On Top Of Spine; 1/8" Closed Tear Top Of Spine; Top And Bottom Of Spine Bumped. Inverness Bookseller's Label Front Pastedown. Very Slight Foxing To First And Last Few Pages. Some Roughness To Upper Right Of First Free Endpaper, Presumably Bookseller's Erasures. Slight Flecking Of Blue Color (To Light Blue) In Small Areas Of Rear Cover.
