The text is illustrated with black and white photography. Red coloured boards with silver writing on the spine. Minor shelf wear evident to the bottom edges of the book and very slight bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine. Browning to the paper edges which has impinged to the extreme edges of internal pages. Original bookseller's sticker on the front paste down. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a montage of photographs with a red "bullet hole" in the middle of the panel. White writing on the front panel and on the spine. The spine has been severely affected by the sun, with darkening along all extreme edges and the spine. The top right-hand corner of the front panel is chipped and there is a tear on the rear spine gutter measuring 1.25 ". Creasing to the front fold over and there is one crease that runs the full length of the fold over. Price clipping has occurred on the front fold over lower right-hand corner. The author went to North Vietnam in the 1960s as part of The Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation. The book is a result of this investigation. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Dust Jacket price-clipped.
