North Pole Town souvenir booklet describing the highlights of this Christmas-themed amusement park in the hamlet of North Pole, town of Wilmington, New York. Circa 1950s. Printed in color on heavy card stock folded in half lengthwise. When folded, measures 8.5 x 11.75 inches. This Adirondacks attraction was opened in 1949 and was one of the first theme parks in America. It is still in operation. Front cover shows a Santa with a spectacularly fake-looking beard hand feeding an albino deer. Other photos in center fold show parking lot with 1950s cars, Santa's Workshop and other buildings from the North Pole village. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; [4] pages .

Contemporary inscriptions on titlepage and pp.[10,11,16]. A good copy. An early 18th-century New England almanac by Nathan Bowen, who issued a series of almanacs published in Boston between 1721 and 1737. In addition to the calendar year, this NEW- ENGLAND DIARY, OR, ALMANACK includes predictions for the movement of the sun and eclipses.
