The Nine Club, Perth, Western Australia, 1979. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Fair Condition/Good. Illustrator: Photographic and Illustrations. foreword by D. H. O'Neil, Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional Administration And the North West, preface by Roy A. Hamilton, Director of the North West, acknowledgements and list of illustrations and photographs. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs, artwork and black-and-white drawings. Dark rose coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound), by Hal Missingham, with ochre coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The title says it all, a collection of poetry, articles, anecdotes and stories (along with illustrations and photographs) celebrating north of Western Australia, above the 26th parallel. Softening to the back strip corners and rubbing of the book corners. Moisture damage can be seen to the rear book panel, rear endpapers and to the internal pages from page 159 through to the end of the book  either actual visual staining or tactile damage. Prize plate affixed to the free front endpaper. Foxing to the top textblock edge. A little creasing of the dustwrapper edges and staining can be seen to the rear panel. Heavy staining to the back strip and rear panel and fold over panel can be seen to the verso  please see photograph. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. [18], 19-365, [1] pages,.
