Corresponding 1914 dates to the title and copyright pages; no additional printings. 528 pages. Decorated endpapers. A history of the Lutheran church in America. Both covers and spine show heavy foxing, but actual wear is minor, with just the hint of a fray at the head of the spine. Bookplate of Norwegian-American collector Herman Gimmestad to the front pastedown, otherwise unmarked. Hinges solid; binding square. all contents clean, tight and unmarked. Solid, useful copy of an uncommon title.
