Volumes two and three much tighter . and with only mild wear to spines.. 1900. Hardcover. A three volume set comprising a detailed record of New York State's official involvement in the Spanish-American War. Peach-colored cloth bindings with blind-stamping and black-stamped lettering on spines. Frontispiece photograph of New York Governor Frank T. Black in first volume. Volume One contains information about all official State documents issued concerning the conflict, long lists of ordnance, quartermaster supplies and medical supplies issued, and detailed lists of soldiers who died during the War. Volume one also lists short biographical information about soldiers enlisted in Troop A, Troop C, 4th Battery, 5th Battery, 7th Battery, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 8th Regiments. Volume two provides registers of soldiers enlisted in the 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 22nd, 47th and 65th Regiments. Volume three provides registers of soldiers enlisted in the 69th, 71st, 201st, 202nd, and 203rd Regiments, as well as information about the naval militia. ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .
