Text block edges moderately browned with a few pages and tops of boards slightly browned (possibly smoke damage though book has no obvious odor), spine rubbed, good only in a price-clipped good only dust jacket with moderate browning to the spine and panel edges, a few tears, and chipping and wear to the extremities. A biography of the author's father, Albert Henry Higgins, who worked his way up to becoming president of Chase Bank, then the largest bank in the world.
