Many have torn wraps and are toned throughout, else all readable copies. Only two sets listed in OCLC, on microfilm, as of 18 Dec 2020. Issues present are beginning in 1962 Feb 2, 23, Aug 24, 1966 Dec 15, 1967 Jun 18, Jul 15, 1969 Jan 30, Mar 20, May 25, 1972 Jun 30, 1973 May 31, 1975 Jun, Jul, Sep, Oct, 1976 Jan, May, Jul-Dec, 1977 Jan-Feb, Mar, Apr, Sep-Nov,1979 Feb, Jun, Sep, Oct, Dec, 1985 Mar/Apr. All are edge and shelf worn with many with ripped pages [Feb 2, 1962 issue has small piece torn from rear wrap]. The major outlet for author Michael Harrington during his last years in the Socialist Party/Social Democratic Federation. Harrington left the paper in the late 60s and went on to form the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee, forerunner of today's DSA. The paper carried extensive coverage of the Civil Rights movement and the early anti-Vietnam War movement.
