London: Michael Joseph, 1964. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Some light foxing to the page edges and the early/late pages of the book otherwise a near fine copy in like D/W. The D/W is complete with a couple of tiny closed tears to the bottom edge but with no other wear or pieces missing. The white portions of the D/W are a bit foxed (particularly at the head of the spine). The orange title and jockey's silks on the spine are a little faded but much less than often seen. Dick Francis' second novel and quite scarce these days.
Synopsis
Nerve by Dick Francis tells the tale of Robb Finn and his investigations into a series of mysterious accidents happening to jockeys. From broken legs to outright murder, Finn quickly finds himself caught up in a rather violent world of horseracing.
