About This Item
New York: Harper & Brothers, 1911. First American Edition 1st Printing. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Howard Christy. First Harper's printing- first edition. Signed and dated "March 1912" on the front free endpaper. A superb very good plus copy from the auctioned collection of M. B. Goldstone--who- along with brother Homer Goldstone--were prolific collector's and bibliographers to Steinbeck. Light edgewear to the extremities and age toning dustiness to the page edges--otherwise near fine. A clean and tight interior and strong hinges and spine. A lovely copy. Scarce to find in this condition.
