Minimal dust soiling to top edge, light offsetting to endpapers; else clean and sound. Dust jacket is heavily chipped along the top edge and has significant losses and internal tape repairs to the spine. An account of the Leightons' work as physicians to a Navaho community, with reflections on Navaho culture, particuarly with respect to attitudes to illness and healing.
