Cambridge, Mass: Harvard University Press, 1979. First Edition, First Printing. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good ++. A handsome signed First Edition First Printing John Kenneth Galbraith title. Book in near fine condition, bound in maroon cloth with bright gilt title across spine. Year of publication on title page indicating a First Edition copy. A slight tear, less than 3/4", across rear cover's bottom edge. Small black ink marking on bottom paper edges. Tightly bound, crisp and clean interior. Author's signature across both half title page and title page. Dust jacket is protected by archival cover. In very good condition with light wear along head and bottom of spine and extremities. Title along spine clear as are the black and white photographs on both front and rear wrappers. Crisp front and rear flaps with intact price. An overall pleasing copy by John Kenneth Galbraith, author of "The Age of Uncertainty" and "The Culture of Contentment" among many other titles.
