Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. End sheets and paste downs toned. 8 pages have small dog ears where bumped. Title page carries the 1954 publication date. Pages are otherwise clean and very good. Dust jacket is tattered and chipped with tear along most of back spine panel edge but clean and bright. Publisher's price of $6.50 on DJ flap as called for on First Edition. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover. A promotional booklet for houses designed by Standard Homes Company containing examples of more than 40 dwellings, each accompanied by layouts and a photograph or drawing of frontage. These houses come in a variety of styles designed with consideration to cost-saving construction using standard sizes for materials such as lumber, windows, and doors to reduce waste. Intercounty Savings and Loan Association of Philadelphia was the distributor of this copy. A letter dated June 27, 1956, from the savings and loan is laid in.
