Edinburgh: Fraser & Co., 1836. Hardcover. Fine/No Jacket. Small hardback. Leather spine and corners. Boards are a a swirl of brown, green, pin, beige and other colors. Rubbing/wear to leather. Two fairly deep gashes on the front boards near the top; one is about 2 1/4" long, the other 1 1/4" long. They go through the top tayer. Another small area on the outer side of the front board, where the top layer is loose. The gold print and decorations on the spine and clear and crisp. PO's name on the inside front cover. The pages are tight; clean/unmarked, except for the backside of the last end page, which has some pencil squiggels on it. 356 pages. With illustrations. Only print info is the year on the bottom of the title page "MDCCCXXXVI" A lovely little book in Fine or better condition given its age. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall
