V, 6-120 pages, last two pages blank, introduction by Professor A. J. Ewart, list of coloured plates, list of photo engravings, glossary and index. Colour illustrated, tipped in, frontispiece by Herbert Dickins showing 2 Victorian wildflowers. Within the text they are another three coloured tipped in plates by the same illustrator along with 56 black-and-white photographs. Green coloured cloth boards with black titles to the front panel and backstrip. The dating of this book is courtesy of The National Library of Australia website. A look at Victorian native flowering plants. Rubbing and bumping to the backstrip edges and to the book corners, the underlying board is visible to the lower book corners. Light rubbing and darkening of the cloth of the boards. Heavy browning and foxing to the text block edges. Heavy foxing and offset tanning to the endpapers and browning and foxing throughout the text. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
