First published between 1935-37 these Bulletins were reprinted after the Second World War. The Compiler was a member of the North Borneo Civil Service and an amateur ethnologist who took a particular interest in the tribes of the interior.

His legacy includes his work in formalising adat, traditions, of the indigenous peoples.
