First edition, second issue binding with 1845 imprinted on spine. Two volumes, octavo size in sixes. [2], 405; xii, [11]-406 pp. Five plates and one folding map.

Brown cloth blindstamped on covers and spine, lettered and decoratively stamped in gilt on spines. Spine imprint 1845. Some foxing throughout. Otherwise, near fine set.
