Cyperaceae is a family of monocot flowering plants known as sedges, which superficially resemble grasses or rushes. Some members of family Cyperaceae are on Maine's threatened and endangered list, including those illustrated in this book: eleocharis quingueflora; rhyncospora capillaceae; scirpus pendulus; scirpus longii; eleocharis tuberculosa; rhynchospora macrostachya; cyperus erythrorhizos; lipocarpha micrantha; and finkristylis antumnalis.

Five rare Junacae in Maine are the subject of this Threatened and Endangered Species book (Alpine rush; Slender rush; Vassey rush; Northern wood-rush; Spiked wood-rush). The pale ink on paper imitates the color and value of the cast shadows produced by he cutaways.

The describes the space and process of the project, printed with a vertical panorama of the garden situated between two buildings. Housed in hinged wooden box with Latex glove, flower seeds, and plastic horse. Scott McCarney,: " This book documents a version of a piece that has been installed/performed privately in my garden in Rochester NY for the past eight years. It started as a tribute to my father, who died at his home in Virginia from lung cancer in 2001. When told he had three weeks to six month to live, he chose to move from hospital to hospice care at home. That was Friday. We had a nice weekend together before he passed away the following Tuesday, much to the surprise of his doctor. Being with him those last few days, I understood his will to die was as strong as his will to live had been.

Numbered, dated, and initialed by artists. This is the second in the Looped series of five books. Each book stands alone but together they weave a tale. Each book has a scene/a story printed on the exterior of the slipcase. The accordion book carries the imagery created for the written narrative. The effect that man has had on the environment is a continuing theme in this series of books. The narrative speaks of the ebb and flow of the sea, washing away and then leaving behind. Illustrated with mono printed examples of ornamental borders and panels on both sets of endpapers and from pages 5 to 67. These are followed by 19 pages of various coloured paper which have been printed with colour pattern. A beautiful book in fine condition in the publishers red cloth with gilt lettering and decorations to the spine and front board. In an early, possibly original, plain glassine wrapper which is a bit torn and creased but has done its job of protecting the book.

The Knight in the Panther's Skin is an unequivocal work by medieval Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli, this translation by Marjory Waldrop was the first prose translation in the English language. This copy bound in a unique copper relief casing featuring a traditional Georgian portrait to the front with a bold pattern and Georgian script to the rear board.
A prolific translator, Waldrop travelled to Georgia in the late 1800s when it was still part of Imperial Russia, and published three English translations of Georgian titles in the following five years. The Knight in the Panther's Skin was the fourth and final translation, but was only published in 1912 three years after her death.
